One of my favorite, go-to looks lately has been anything that involves wearing these boyfriend jeans. Besides the obvious comfort level (100), I love the distressing and wash of this pair. They're currently on sale for less than $100, but are only available in a few sizes, so I linked similar pairs just in case you're interested! I feel like people either hate or love this style of denim because they aren't always the most flattering. However, I think if they're styled a certain way, they can be just as good as any other pair in your closet. So today I'm sharing two of my favorite ways to style boyfriend jeans.
A simple pullover sweater and a pair of sneakers is an easy and casual way to style boyfriend jeans. Since the jeans are already pretty loose, I personally like for my tops to have some shape and aren't too over-sized. This slouchy pullover sweater is perfect heading into fall and I love it paired with this denim. The sweater fits true to size (I'm wearing a medium) and is so soft and cozy. If I can't sway you to jump on the boyfriend jean bandwagon, then hopefully I can sway you to at LEAST get this sweater! Since we're still dealing with the brutal heat of summer, I currently love wearing these jeans with a simple, fitted tee and these sneakers!
If I'm going for a dressier, more put together look, I like to pair boyfriend jeans with a nice blouse like this button-up. A soft and feminine top gives a nice balance to the outfit since the jeans are baggy and distressed. I usually add a fun pair of heels and sunglasses to dress the look up even more. I can't wait for some cooler temps, so I can throw on a leather jacket to really complete the outfit!
I hope I was able to give you all some outfit inspiration for styling your own boyfriend jeans, or maybe even to buy your first pair :) Everything is linked above and below, so be sure to check it out. Have a great rest of the week and weekend!
