Hi friends! I’m back with another post to share this look that I wore for the wedding we went to in Iowa. For some reason, I find that fall and winter weddings are difficult to shop for – I just think there’s always more options to pick from during the warmer months.
I found this dress on ASOS (if you haven’t shopped this website, you need to!) and loved everything about it. Between the bell sleeves, lace detail, the print, and length of the dress, it was just too perfect NOT to buy! For even colder months, you could wear tights underneath as well, so you could definitely wear it year-round. An added bonus for me is that it's available in tall (and petite), so I knew it wouldn't be too short on me. The second bonus? It's less than $60!
I purposely bought these burgundy heels to wear with this dress because I wanted something different besides your typical black heels - these were great for adding a pop color to the look. I realize, however, that some people aren’t the biggest high heel fans (I usually go for the more comfortable option myself).
So before we left to take pictures, I thought I’d bring these ankle boots along to show another shoe option for this dress. I think it makes the look more casual and it’s definitely more comfortable, which is why I ended up wearing the boots to the actual wedding! Haha! I knew it was going to be a long evening, and I wasn’t about to torture myself. Props to you if you can wear heels throughout an entire wedding ;) GREAT NEWS! I found another pair of ankle booties that look exactly like these Lucky boots that I'm wearing, which are $40 cheaper! I've linked them above :)
Do you prefer the heels or boots with this look? I’d love it if you’d leave me a comment! Thanks for reading :)
