Who else is trying to get back on track from the long holiday weekend? I know I'm still feeling the effects of too much food and lack of productivity. Justin and I got back to Lexington with enough time to go cut down our Christmas tree on Sunday afternoon, which is something I've always wanted to do. For the past few years, we've been using a small artificial tree since we haven't had much space in the apartments we've lived in. So this year, I'm really excited to decorate our first home for the holidays!
We went to Nieman's Christmas Tree Farm just on the outskirts of Lexington. After a lot of walking back and forth, searching for the perfect tree, we finally found it. Justin and I had a difference of opinion on the kind of tree we should get at first, but I think we're both happy with our choice :) I'm hoping this will start a new tradition for us, and I can't wait to finish decorating.
Christmas tree picking was the perfect excuse to break out my Hunter boots. They make a great gift if you're looking to spoil someone! This puffer coat is a STEAL for only $99! It is super warm and a great every day winter coat to have in your closet. This beanie hat = my new obsession. It's a fun accessory to add to any look and is an easy, affordable gift to give this season! Speaking of obsessed, I have a real problem with buying sweaters right now. I feel like I can't have enough! This sweater that I'm wearing has been in and out of stock for the past month, but I've linked a bunch of sweaters below that I'm loving at the moment, so check those out.
