Who knew a little black, floral dress could make me so happy? I didn't, but now I know and it's nothing but this outfit combination from here on out....sorry, gang! I saw this dress in the store window and quickly made a beeline to try it on. Luckily, it fit me in all the right places (forgiving in others) and less than $60, so I knew it had to be mine. At the time, I was on the hunt for a dress to wear to the Springhouse blogger brunch (if you missed it last week, check it out HERE), and originally purchased this dress to wear to the event; it wasn't until the morning of the brunch that I made a quick switch, but that just meant I could save it for another post ;)
Besides loving the print, it's so comfortable and just easy to wear. You all know by now that if I can dress an outfit up and/or down for multiple occasions, it's a win for me. Extra bonus: I'm 5'9 and have long legs, so short dresses aren't normally my go-to. Usually when it's classified as a "mini" dress, it's a big 'no thank you' for me, but this dress is such a great length! I guess if you're one of my short gals, it might be a little longer than where it hits me. It fits true to size FYI!
As a 90's kid, I'm totally loving the denim jacket comeback, and there's no way it would feel like a true throwback if I didn't slap it around my waist ;) It hides those food babies pretty good, too! Haha I know I'm totally jumping the gun, but I'm ready for fall and can't wait to actually be able to wear this jacket for longer than 10 minutes. This one fits true to size and is less than $40! I purchased these ankle boots from the Nordstrom sale (they were $79), but unfortunately they're no longer on sale! I will say, however, that I definitely think they're worth the investment if ankle boots are a consistent staple in your closet!
I hope you all have a happy Friday and great weekend! Justin and I have a low-key, no plans weekend at home and I'm pretty excited about it :) Thanks for reading!
