Well guys, I did it- I finally jumped on the lace-up sweater bandwagon! They've been all the rage lately, but I could never find one that wasn't too revealing or cheaply made. I pretty much considered it a loss, especially since we've officially entered spring, but then I found this one.
This lace-up sweater from Loft is lightweight, which is definitely what you need with warmer temps on the way. The lace-up part can be as undone or as pulled together as you'd like, which is great. It comes in this really pretty pink color and tan. In the store, I definitely snagged the tan one at first (neutrals are my go-to), but when I tried this pink one on, I figured I should try something new- get out of my comfort zone a little. If pink's not your thing, the tan one is a must- I'm still kind of tempted to get it in that color, too! ;)
I bought these jeans back in February and they haven't let me down yet. I've had the hardest time searching for white denim that's good quality and doesn't appear to be "see through." They offer the slightest amount of stretch (yay!) and fit true to size! I was going for a more casual look, so I went with these New Balance sneakers for the look. If you couldn't already tell, I try to pair these (or any of my New Balance) with as many outfits as possible. Who doesn't want to wear sneakers with everything?? What's great about this particular style is that you can dress them up or down. I've worn them with everything from jeans to casual summer dresses and they never disappoint!
I have some fun things coming to the blog soon and can't wait to share it with you all! Tutorials anyone? ;) Let me know in the comments if you have any post requests that you'd like to see. Have a great weekend!
